Reality Extractor and the route to Chaos

The Reality Extractor fills a Reality Core with samples from different Realities of one tier. This is separate from the Rift Core obtained by closing anomalies.

Prepare the equipment

  1. Produce Reality Condensate in the Zenith Accelerator.
  2. Craft a blank Reality Core using 13 condensates in the Void Station's recipe.
  3. Craft the Reality Extractor. Its 9×9 recipe consumes a Reality Core and produces one extractor.
  4. Craft additional blank cores for collection and prepare a portable FE supply.

Complete a core

Place the extractor inside a Reality, insert a compatible incomplete core and supply energy. An extraction requires 1,200 paid work ticks at a base 2,000,000 FE/t: a nominal 2.4 billion FE before calibration effects.

Each completed extraction supplies one of three required samples. All three must come from distinct Realities of the same tier. A world-saved record prevents extracting another sample from the same Reality, including with a different machine. An incomplete core of another tier is refused; a finished core needs no more samples.

Extraction costs 50 percentage points of Reality stability. Check stability before starting and avoid mining away the budget you need to leave safely. Breaking the extractor drops its inventory and resets unfinished processing; already collected core samples remain on their item.

Craft the Chaotic Catalyst

Complete one core for each of these eight tiers:

Unstable · Stable · Void · Stellar · Duality · Darklight · Nova · Zenith

That requires 24 distinct successful collections. The base extraction energy alone totals 57.6 billion FE, excluding the accelerator, portal, transport and modifiers.

Use the eight completed cores and Zenith in the Chaotic Catalyst recipe. A blank core or a core with only one or two samples does not satisfy it. A Chaos core is not required to unlock Chaos.

Sneak-right-click the Gateway Terminal with the catalyst to enter Chaos mode. There, Chaos creature fragments and exclusive Reality materials contribute to the final Chaotic crafting progression.
