Dimensional Breaches

Português

A Dimensional Breach is the maximum Rift stage: a much larger rupture, more rapid terrain contamination and repeated small waves of creatures. Unlike an ordinary Rift, it remains an event to resolve instead of simply weakening and closing on its normal timer.

Event sequence

  1. Incursion: the first waves bring creatures of the Breach's tier.
  2. Expansion: the affected area grows while the event remains active.
  3. Anchors: after about ten seconds of active processing, 3–5 living Reality Anchors appear around the center, roughly 24–46 blocks away horizontally.
  4. Exposed: destroy all Anchors to make the center sealable.
  5. Sealing: hold use with a Stable Orb near the center while final waves continue.

Anchor effects

Tier Main effect
Void Pulls nearby entities
Stellar Fires projectiles
Darklight Applies darkness and strengthens nearby monsters
Nova Emits area damage pulses
Zenith Produces levitation / local gravity disruption

Other tiers use the shared movement-disturbance behavior. These are living combat targets, distinct from the craftable Dimensional Anchor chunk loader. They are intended to be defeated by player attacks; environmental damage is not a substitute for the encounter.

Seal the exposed center

Once the display shows zero remaining Anchors, hold use with a Stable Orb within six blocks of the center. Sealing requires 15 seconds of progress. Leaving range or releasing use pauses progress instead of resetting it. Several players do not multiply sealing speed.

The final waves still require attention. One orb is consumed when sealing completes in Survival, the rupture implodes, and its additional spawning ends. Existing mobs and altered terrain remain.

Rewards

A sealed Breach guarantees one Rift Core, 32 to 64 + 4 × tier index Rift Residue, and 500 + 100 × tier index XP points. Tier indices follow the Rift reward table.

Examples: Unstable gives 32–64 residue and 500 XP; Zenith gives 32–92 residue and 1,200 XP. Rewards are dropped at the former center. Make room in your inventory and collect them before leaving.

Leaving an ordinary Rift open preserves its farming opportunities, but accepts the small escalation risk. Ordinary tiered creatures retain their normal loot; the Breach reward is a separate reason to finish the event.
